Can you take over an app built by someone else?
Yes. AppKeep is specifically designed for existing applications, including apps built by another agency, freelancer or internal team. We assess the app and establish a clear maintenance baseline before taking responsibility for it.
What if the app is old or needs significant work?
Age alone does not make an app unsuitable. We assess its technology, architecture and current condition. If significant pre-existing remediation is needed, we’ll explain and quote for that separately before normal AppKeep maintenance begins.
What does AppKeep include — and what is separate?
AppKeep covers ongoing maintenance of the application you already have, including compatibility, routine framework and dependency updates, store requirements, releases, monitoring and best-effort minor corrective maintenance.
New features, significant product changes, major migrations, substantial remediation and significant backend development are separately scoped through Azuki consultancy.
Maintenance preserves what the app already does. Consultancy changes what the app does.
What happens when Apple or Google changes its requirements?
Tracking relevant Apple, Google and mobile-platform requirements is part of AppKeep. We carry out the routine maintenance needed to keep the app compatible and releasable. Exceptionally large migrations or redevelopment may need to be scoped separately.
Is AppKeep 24/7 support?
No. AppKeep is a business-hours maintenance and support service with defined response expectations. It is not a 24/7 NOC or enterprise incident-response service.
How much does AppKeep cost?
Introductory pricing starts from £499/month. Exact pricing depends on the application and the maintenance responsibility we are taking on.
Which platforms and technologies do you support?
AppKeep can cover iOS, Android or both. We work with React Native, Expo, native iOS and Android, Flutter and other mobile technologies where practical. Suitability depends on the technology, age, architecture and condition of the app.
